I will not be hitting the treadmill today. Last night my left foot was a bit numb when I came back, which has happened before, but it’s always gone away overnight. Today, it’s persisted – I’m still feeling it now. Up to this point, I’ve been using the old boots, and I think they’ve about had it. I’ll hold off until tomorrow when I can visit Bass Pro and exchange the new boots that are one half size too big for a pair that fits better. That done, I will hit the treadmill again.
On the trail itself, I won’t have this luxury, but I’m still two months away, and only 1/3 of the way through the training; I think while I have the luxury, I can make use of it now and then. I do not want to wreck my feet before I even hit West Virginia. Perhaps I’m being lazy. Perhaps I’m being sensible. I’ll let you decide for yourself. đŸ™‚
